Mel's Mum said that we would not be able to keep any of our garlic due to the rust. I'm not so sure and inspired by My Tiny Plot, who seems to know her rusty onions, I have dried a bag full in the garden. They look and taste delicious.Thank you My Tiny Plot!

Hey Plot 21 - well done. Never let good garlic go to waste is what I say.
I had rust on my garlic this year as well, for the first time. It only appeared 10 days or so before harvest so I didn't worry about it too much. So far the garlic seems fine. I don't think the rust is necessarily a problem, only if it actually kills the plants before they mature.
