Thanks for all these kind comments! We are handing Allotment 21 over to a new tenant on 1st January 2007 and today he has bought the greenhouse, shed etc. Spouse is thrilled as this gets him off the dismantling hook. Considering the time it took to build the thing I'm not surprised.Spouse & I should be moving to a cottage in the countryside in January where I am going to start serial killing vegetables once more. This will be the start of a whole new blog...

well it's about time. I was going to ask if the new guy was crazy or something! To have it all there and ready to go - now he's really set. Cannot wait to meet the new place!

Thanks Petunia, I think the new bloke has got a real bargain AND a weed free(ish) plot.
Mel will be growing in her big new veg patch at home and we are sharing seeds and (fingers crossed) crops - she will probably end up being a blog sub-plot! We will miss the regular Saturday morning gossip though, and may have to take turns digging each other's plot to catch up.
I'm looking forward to the new blog. Let us know where to find it, won't you?
