Blue seeds or not, we are finally getting a decent crop of carrots. The problem is getting to the allotment when it is still daylight. I need the carrots to improve my night vision but I can't see them to pick them... A big torch is going on our weekend shopping list.

Ha ha, sorry but you're making me laugh imagining you all stumbing about on a dark allotment and pulling stuff up at random. Maybe you need floodlights. or just go there at the weekend instead.
If you get a bit torch you won't need the carrots to see in the dark then!
I just want to get to them before the carrot flies!
