Sunday 1st October - Brandywine

Having nurtured the Brandywine tomatoes from seed, I am determined to eat a ripe one before Mel, woodlice or the resident snail get at it!

If I can build up a big enough stash I am off to the tomato fest in Spain.

Maybe you should make sure you get the first ripe tomato but instead of eating it sell it to Mel, if she wants the first one badly enough she should cough up well then add the money to your Spain fund. They look nice toms anyway. Glad you like the greenhouse, it is nice but it was made in a time when they made things properly.

Good luck! (I've got lots of green ones plucked and ripening in the window sill...)
