On this day in 1881 the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral took place. Our allotment site has something very similar at the entrance. It is an untended corner where the 21st century allotment version of Wyatt Earp sits with his men, drinking cider and burning pallets.These guys are the law. Veg thieves beware!

Not sure how the posse would react if I appeared with a camera mid cider session...
Haven't Nick & Steve been inducted in to the Posse then?...what with their fondness for cider, smocks and manly activities like burning stuff.

I wonder if they let females into their club? I think I would like to join.
We have some garden furniture in ours and many an afternoon you can catch us sitting drinking beer instead of working.
